Artwork using vessels as canvases!
Yuri Yamazaki is a ceramic artist based in Ishikawa who creates ceramics using traditional Kutani ware techniques. Using her favorite animal and plant motifs, she creates many ceramic pieces that look like pages from a picture book.
This is a beautiful piece with lines, motifs and forms painted in a blue that resembles the color of the sea, giving it a somewhat international feel.
Although it is called a curry plate, it is a size that makes it suitable for many other uses.
