Using traditional Kutani ware techniques as a base, ceramic artist Yamazaki Yuri creates playful pieces that combine vibrant colors with original, free-flowing compositions.

A cat plays with a Chinese child who dances while manipulating a teaser. A mouse who looks like he wants to join in is outside (lol). It's a very cute scene. The vibrant lines on both the inside and outside of the bowl, typical of Kutani, make this a beautiful meal bowl.
